Cowboys saints score prediction11/23/2023 A more balanced offensive attack was on display in Week 1, but turnover woes and inexplicable mistakes led to back-to-back losses next. Boasting a roster loaded with youth, don’t be surprised if the Jaguars once again improve upon their nine wins from 2022. The Jaguars not only reached the postseason a year ago, but they also got their first playoff win since 2017. Trevor Lawrence and Doug Pederson are here to stay. This leaves the Steelers in last place, almost by default. We don’t expect the Steelers to be this bad all season, yet unless Pickett is truly special, it’s also hard to view them catapulting past the Bengals or Ravens. While Kenny Pickett is in his second year, he hasn’t shown much growth behind a crumbling offensive line, not to mention the Steelers’ insistence on relying on an ineffective Najee Harris. That might no longer be the case this season. Here we get to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are never terrible under Mike Tomlin, with zero losing seasons in 16 years. Yet, the presence of Myles Garrett and an aggressive defense gives the Browns a chance. Deshaun Watson will have a full season ahead of him, but the former Pro Bowl QB was so rusty in 2022 that it’s hard to be sold until we see him return to top form. But Nick Chubb’s injury has drastically lowered their ceiling to that of a team just fighting for a Wild Card spot, if they’re lucky. Heading into the season, the Cleveland Browns once again looked like a team that could easily become one of the better teams in the NFL. But we haven’t seen the Bengals anywhere near their best just yet. At its best, this is one of the most explosive passing offenses in football, and defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo gives opponents weekly headaches thanks to his schemes that are tough to beat. He’s just not healthy, and it’s costing his team early on. The Cincinnati Bengals look nothing like their former selves. Either way, the Raiders haven’t been sharp early on and being without Garoppolo in a big Week 4 matchup vs. They decided to move on from Derek Carr, but is Jimmy Garoppolo an improvement at QB? After allowing 38 points in Week 2, maybe we should have bigger concerns on defense. In what’s expected to be a very competitive division, we predict the Las Vegas Raiders to finish in last place. It never has been with Justin Herbert at the helm. It’s been a rough start for the Los Angeles Chargers, but they’re just a play or two away from being undefeated. They still need to learn which receivers they can rely on before returning to being one of the best teams in the NFL, but there’s plenty of time to get things straightened out. But no one should have expected a Chiefs team that has won the AFC West division every year since 2016 to suddenly fall flat. If they play a clean game with solid execution from their special teams unit and minimize their mistakes while maximizing Carolina's, three NFC South teams should be 2-0 by the end of the night. While they’ve experienced some early growing pains with dropped passes and turnovers, the Chiefs are back to averaging 25.5 points per game. The major factor that could beat New Orleans in this particular matchup is itself. Meanwhile, the defense has plus matchups all over the field. To take it over the top, the Panthers' Cover 3 heavy approach last week, if replicated Monday night, will also open up the seams for Juwan Johnson and the team's talented group of tight ends. In his two career games against the division rivals last year, the second-year wideout put up a huge combined stat line with 14 catches, 207 receiving yards and a touchdown catch. During the last matchup between these two teams in Carolina, Olave went off for 147 receiving yards when thrust into a larger role due to injuries ahead of him. With Carolina’s star cornerback Jaycee Horn out for the next several games, Saints wide receivers Michael Thomas, Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed should be in for big numbers.
